About
Imagedit is a small browser tool for quick image edits. Drop in a file, adjust, and download the result. There is no account to create, and the edits are meant to be done in a minute or two.
What you can do
Imagedit has four tools on one page:
- Remove BG cuts out the background and gives you a clean PNG. You can leave it transparent or place the cutout on a solid color.
- Crop & Resize lets you drag a crop frame, pick an aspect ratio, and set the export width.
- Upscale enlarges an image to a larger resolution.
- Compress shrinks a file to a size you choose, with an optional cap on its dimensions.
The last five results are kept in a Recent list in your browser so you can reopen them.
How it works
Crop & Resize and Compress run entirely in your browser. Those images never leave your device.
Remove BG and Upscale need more processing than a browser can give, so they run through our server and a third-party service. Images are held in memory only while they are being processed, and nothing is stored on our servers. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
What it is not
Imagedit is a focused tool, not a full photo editor. It does not do layers, filters, text, or batch processing. It is meant for the handful of edits people need most often, done quickly and without a sign-up.
It is a small, free project, so there is no support desk and no roadmap to promise. If you run into a problem or have an idea, the Contact page is the way to reach the person who builds it.
