What the tools do with your files, and what they do not.

Yes. There is no account, no sign-up, and no payment. All four tools are free to use.

No. Images are held in memory only while they are processed, and nothing is written to our servers. Crop & Resize and Compress never leave your browser at all. Remove BG and Upscale send the image to a third-party service, which is described in the Privacy Policy.

Crop & Resize and Compress run entirely in your browser using the Canvas API, so those images never leave your device. Remove BG and Upscale need more processing power, so they run through our server and a third-party service.

Remove BG and Upscale accept PNG, JPG, and WEBP files up to 4MB. Crop & Resize and Compress run on your own device, so their limits come from your browser and hardware instead.

Remove BG and Upscale allow 20 images per hour per visitor. The two browser-based tools have no such limit.

Remove BG and Upscale use automated processing, so results vary. Background removal can leave halos, lose fine detail like hair, or cut away part of the subject by mistake, and upscaling can soften detail. Check the result before you rely on it.
